Thank You, Bob, for Your Leadership

For the past four years, Bob Munroe has provided steady, thoughtful leadership as Chair of the Broomfield Housing Alliance Board, guiding the organization through its formative years with vision and integrity. Under his leadership, BHA has grown from a newly launched housing authority into a driving force for affordable housing in our community.

On behalf of BHA staff and our board members, we extend our sincere gratitude to Bob for his time, commitment, and unwavering belief in our mission. While he is stepping down as Board Chair, we are grateful that he will continue to serve on the Board and support the important work ahead.

Vista Pointe 9% Tax Credit Application Submitted

Broomfield Housing Alliance (BHA), in partnership with BlueLine Development, has officially submitted an application for 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits for the Vista Pointe project. If awarded, this highly competitive funding will support the development of much-needed affordable rental homes in Broomfield, advancing our commitment to housing stability and expanding opportunity for individuals and families in our community.

Grove Construction Update

Construction at The Grove at Cottonwood is progressing steadily! All buildings are now dried in, and installation of building systems is well underway, bringing us closer to welcoming our first residents.

Meanwhile, BHA staff are actively collaborating with community partners to design supportive service programming and prepare future residents for independent living. Recently, our team presented to FRIENDS of Broomfield and Imagine! participants to share how affordable housing works and guide families and caregivers on preparing for a smooth and successful lease-up process.

The Broomfield Housing Solutions Forum (BHSF) is a network of partners and neighbors committed to shaping a housing system that works—for everyone in Broomfield.  Whether you’re an organization, advocate, or resident, there’s a place for you in this work.  The BHSF has developed a comprehensive housing strategy that aligns advocacy, policy, and action to meet the diverse housing needs of our neighbors. Mobile Home Residents Workshop

Colorado Poverty Law Project is hosting a Know Your Rights workshop for mobile home residents focused on park rules, regulations, and the MHPOP complaint process. Participants will learn how the Mobile Home Park Act protects them, what makes a park rule legally enforceable, and how and when to file an MHPOP complaint. Join us to better understand your rights and how to advocate for yourself in your community.

Housing Choice Voucher Update

Currently, the BHA Housing Choice Voucher(HCV) waitlist is closed. To stay updated on future openings of the voucher waitlist, please visit the BHA website and subscribe to the newsletter. You can also use the contact page to send a message indicating your interest in receiving updates about future waitlist openings.

CCOB Down Payment Assistance Program

First-time homebuyers, especially first-generation buyers, may qualify for Down Payment Assistance. Eligible buyers can receive a 30-year, 0% interest loan for up to 10% of the purchase price.
